I just got home and polished off 3 or maybe 4 shots of Makers mark. I have the next 4 days off and forgot my phone on my desk at work.

I used to have dogs but they kept running off chasing deer when I lived on Kodiak Island. It was a terrible pain in the butt, so I gave them all away. I was amazed how much my stress levels dropped. That was 31 years ago. Occasionally, I think about getting another dog, That is, until I step in a pile someone's pooch has left behind and that helps make up my mind for a few more years.

At this point in history, those that cannot see the glaring dangers and deficiencies of communism or socialism, in my opinion, have a mental defect that is most likely incurable. As I recall, it did have a spacer, holding the cartridges to the rear of the mag. I remember there was a discussion on that subject with z1r.

Looks like a good shooter to me! I have one of the 7.62 small rings somewhere. I never fired it, back when I bought it, the rumor was it was not safe. Too much pressure for the action.

I just picked up this Bersa Thunder 380. No special reason, other than it looked cool, kind of like a PPK, and it was cheap. I haven't fired it yet, but it seems to be a well made pistol. I don't really care for the magazine trigger disconnect feature. it's also little larger than I expected, bigger than a PPK. I think there are probably 9x19 pistols this size nowadays.

Don't buy one. I'm sure that I have one of those, give me a couple days to dig it out.

Evidently the Israeli leadership is asleep at the wheel. If I was surrounded by people that want me dead, and they did in fact assault me, my response would be immediate, irrevocable, and violent. With Jewish history in mind, the idea that they have restrictions on the publics ability to "keep and Bear arms" is absolute insanity. Israel seems to be a shadow of it's former self. And if there are American generals there to "advise them is laughable, my guess is they are there to hold back the IDF. The US is not able to defend it's own boarders much less tell another country how to defend theirs.

I am proud of my sons for their military service but for many years I lived with stress that comes from having a child in a war zone. My younger son is still in the Marine Corps and his job requires frequent travel to shiite holes around the globe. I'll be glad when he is finally done with it. I sincerely hope he doesn't get sent to Ukraine or Israel.
