ok, a year ago i bought a vz24 action and never did anything to it, now im gonna start workin on it. this is mostly a pratice gun (learn to bed, and finish a stock) so im gonna go cheap with it. ive decided i want to go with a blind magazine but i dont know how to do it. i was gonna order a stock from richards but i need to know how to make it blind magaine, some help woult be really nice

im clayton faulkner if you couldint firgure that out... im 16 and in the 11th grade i live in tuscaloosa alabama im very hard headed and i like to do any thing mechanical. i can weld and im learnging how to use a mill and a lathe so that should help me with working on guns... besides guns and hunting im into anything fast and dangeriouos, fast cars, 4x4, motorcycles... and a few more things that r probly misteaks but besides that im ur average kid p.s. i cant spell for ###### so get over it

i like them alot, they are very comfortable and ive herd they help reduce recoil but i dont know if thats true or not

im kinda liking these new bullets... im hoping that marlin or some1 will come out with new bad ass cartridge (maby a 450 marlin knecked down to .35 or .30) and peopl will start buying lever actions again.

how much do they charge?

im liking the sound of the dakota necked down to 6.5mm, i would also blow the shoulder out to 35*, now where to get started...

in the next few years im going to have to decide on what i want to do with my life, right no wi am a junior in high school and i really dont want want to go to a 4 year collage just because i dont get along with school. i was really looking at underwater constrution, im a good welder and i want to start scuba diving. the other thing i was thinking about was gunsmith school. is there any good 1's in the US? all the really great 1's ive herd of are in europe. can some1 even make money in this field anymore? i would like to eventuly (i mean in the next 30 years) invest in a cnc machine and start making true custom guns of my own creation (double square bride, controlled round feed, sort long and magnum lengths). i know this sounds like a crazy dream, and pretty much it is but i just wanted to hear some feedback b4 i gave up on it. im taking welding classes at high school, the teacher also teaches at the community collage and is very good. hopefully this semister he will teach me how to use a lathe and a mill, im gonna see about converting the safety on the gun im building now to a 2 position m70 style. well any1 that wants to leave a comment feel free to speak your mind...

o know... thats what im trying to do... i was to neck down a 7mm/300/338/what ever else they make in ultramag to 6.5mm and shorten it to -06 length so it will fit in a mauser

y is every1 so agasint making a new wildcat? from what ive seen no1 has done what i want to do b4

well if its already been done then will some1 tell me where? im looking for a shortened, blowen out ultramag/jeffrey in the 6.5-7mm bullet range

ok it dosnt look like any1 has done this b4 so could some1 could point me in the right direction to what i need to do to get it done. what all will i need? im not going to actuly put the barrel on and check the head space and all that, ill get my gun smith too but what all tooks will he need?

haha, well with what i was talking about i would expect between 3300 to 3500 fps, which isnt that fast when you consider osme of the other ones out there

has any1 made a wildcat round yet by trimming a remington ultramag or stw down a -06 length? if not then any1 that is looking to make a new wild cat, i would recemend this. i would love to have osmethin like that with a 260 caliber bullet, or maby a 270...

im thinking about oordering a maple stock but before do i want to see where i can get some info on finishing a stock like this. also pics of maple stocks that every1 ownes would be nice

i was considering have my mauser action color case hardened, has anyone done this before? would anyone recemend it? where is a good place to have it done? the only think i was done is the receiver.
