  1. Since I am traveling for a living, aka truck driver, I have been seening alot of police not doing their job out here. They just set in their cruiser and watch people. Scale houses just doing their thing and mostly not inspecting. I will say that people either getting braver or more stupid trying to cut a truck off these days. Glad I have my own dash cam in the semi. I ran into the blonde hair cop that pull me over after I got my truck done(short story) the other day at the house, she said that they were told to step back by the captain. And then she told me that rumors was that it came down from the governor, how true it is, I don't know. The short story. I mostly got my 97 F150 done from the paint, lights etc. I was driving down Mo 58 and then I see red and blue lights. Thinking , wtf did I do to get pull over. So I pull into a gas station and she walk up and she told me she was glad to see me again and that she had not seen my truck driving around in six months. Told her I had it painted and did a few extras to it. She then told me it look real nice and she wanted my body guy info. I give it to her and she let me go. She been to my house a few time because of next door. And that's a long story. Rob

    jobs

I got my mother in law's car up to Maryland and while I was there, I installed a floor and few things that her worthless husband could have done. While we were checking out of the motel, I was talking to the assistant manager and she was telling me that they need help. I ask her what kind of help and she said house keeping and that they have over 100 rooms needs to be clean. I mentioned that my brother in law was looking for a job, but slow in learning. She said that's fine, just send him up there. He had that job only if he went up there. Needless to say he did not go up there. My wife and I got into a heated argument because I said stop giving him stuff. Am I wrong? Rob
  4. After getting the truck back last Monday, it took me over 6 hours installing the dash cams, auxiliary fuse panel, toolbox, tools and gear. Got a good night sleep and drove to Maryland pulling a 2000 Cadillac Deville without any issue. Dash can needs to be updated but better then last system. Got about 16 mpg in towing mode. The Ford dealership got the smoke smell out of the truck but still missing two peices of trim. Need to say it still just piss me off everytime I think about it being stole. I thought about sueing them but he's a good guy, just a lack of judgment. I still do not know if I'll still use him bit only time will tell. Rob
  5. UPDATE: repairs cost about $1800.00 and replacing item was about $2000. I hate thieves. Rob
  6. I feel our history will be wiped out and it will repeat until they learn to look back. Very sad but what can we do? I think the Democrats did destroy everything by promising the poor everything and delivered nothing and blamed the Republicans for their failure. Rob
  7. Does not surprised me one bite with vechiles going to Mexico, but I'm shock that my truck is not in Mexico. The monthly service fee is $15.00 each, so that is $45.00 per month for all three for the 97 and 06 F150 and 03 F350. Rob
  8. Just bought 3 gps tracker just like my company has on their equipment. Service fee is $15 per unit per month. Rob
  9. I'll let to see some type of pain, like put ghost peppers on his hands and open his stomach and watch him hold his guts. Yes, I can be very nasty. Rob
  10. no, not yet. They have fingerprints and DNA. Dealing with the insurance is a pain. Rob
  11. My truck was recovered last night in Kansas City, Mo. I took it up to the dealership and had to put fuel in it. Big surprise, not. The driver door lock and the ignition needs to be rebuilt, chip in glass, panel missing, and everything is gone, which is not a big surprise to me. There is wire cut under the hood. No other damage. They did remove my decals and put Chiefs and Royals decals all over the truck. But the douch nozzle smoke in my truck. We do not smoke and it give me a instead headache while drive and had to roll down the windows. As for how often it happen at this shop, unknown and I will not be going back there and will be leaving a feedback after everything is done. Rob
  12. Yes, in KC. I'll stay home tonight. Rob
  13. Since I had my semi at the company yard getting fix, we came home to look for my truck. But tonight after it got dark, I melted and cleaned the lead I found in two weeks. I think I have reach my goal of 100lbs. 125lbs of free lead is always great. Rob
  14. The two pictures is the shop that my truck was stole at. 1st one is where my truck was parked and the 2nd is the secure lot that my truck should have been. Thanks for all the advice. Rob
  15. Yeh, but they have the resources. Rob
  16. We are thinking lefting the insurance deal with this. I will set down with the claim adjust and see what they are offering. Let them go after the shop. We have been going to this shop for over 6 years and this one big issue pissed me off. Rob
  17. The shop did not have any cams, but the shop across the street does. I'm trying not to use my insurance because the shop failed to secured the truck. Recovery of this type of truck is about 23% in my area. I was told for some odd reason, thes ed type of truck are now a target. Thinking about getting a lawyer involved. Rob
  18. My F350 dual wheel crew cab was stolen last night/early morning today. It was at a shop in Belton, Mo for some services. Guy left it out in the parking lot and was gone this morning. His insurance said they will not cover it. Truck has about 105,000 miles on it. Boy am I mad. 1. Shop failed to secure it. 2. It was stolen.
  19. Thanks, we will be getting someone to do it. Rob
  20. After I put her down, I had her cremated and still have her ashes. I will not spread them out till I go home for good. So she sets on my bar at home.
  21. This is Lady. She found me at work on day and I give her my sandwich. Next day she showed back up and once again I give her my sandwich. Third day, I want and got dog food. She was covered with ticks and flea. My wife and I clean her up the best we can. We then called a groomer to see if we can get her in. She did not like being left alone so I had to stay and told her it was all good. But the rest is history.
  22. So I got two sheds, both 12X16 left barn. My wife thinks i need electricity in them, which I agree. Now the question before I start looking for a electricians to do the work. I have a 220V circuit that we used for the stove but since switched to gas. Can I run the 220v to one of the shed to a circuit brake box and split it back to 110V? Then run a circuit to the other shed for lights and few outlets? Thanks in advance Rob
  23. People really don't understand how hard it is when a pet dies. The hardest thing I had to do what put down my Lady. She been through alot but still a trooper. She help two cancer patients and protect us while on the truck. Still miss her to this day and think about her everyday. So with that my condolences to you and you family. Rob
