    the chinese banners should be easy to spot. the letters are shapped slightly different & it has two small round marking on the sides of the front of the receiver right above the woodline. if you need some pics to tell the difference let me know & i'll post some

    i have two of them. ones a german barreled action i bought for a 9.3x62 sporter project & the other is a chinese copy that has a realy neat chinese emblem carved into the stock
  3. the only places i know of who make stocks for the greek MS 1903/14 is richards & great american gunstocks sarco also lists parts for the greek ms1903 but i don't know if they have stocks. a guy on ebay was selling parts in the militaria section & he may be able to help you out
  4. another guy suggested using the end of a spanner wrench for butterknife handles. i still need the round off the sides of the handle & add a little more curve to the backside on the bottom.
  5. i was a little bored this morning so i decided to try making a butterknife bolt handle for my ms1903. i bought 2, 6" long 3/4" bolts for $3.00 & used a 4" angle grinder, bench grinder & a dremel tool for shaping.took about 2 1/2 hours to make & weld on. i still need to do a little more shaping before its done, but its close enough for now.
