Met them yesterday and am struggling with 1st impression. Made fun of me saying shopping buggy instead of cart. Saying cornhole in mixed crowd makes me cringe and the dude wouldn’t drink my beer when he seen it was Miller. Wonder what I said that might have offended them ? I’m sure they cracked up over my Texas redneck slang. Just never had anybody except a beer then turn it down when they see the brand. I’m going to make them a good neighbor no matter what they say or do. Our differences orta make it fun.

Yep! Kids always have snotty noses from school. I had couple episodes of what I thought were sinus infections but only lasted couple days instead of 2 weeks like normal. I told my wife I bet and hoped it was Covid. All in our family that died or had hard time never spent time outside. Delivery pizza and sports on TV was everyday norm. I totally agree, we all had it.

Ken, glad your better. If there’s such a thing as bright side, you got it outta the way before your so short summer! We lost my brother-in-law, daughter-in-law’s Dad and Grandpa, and my wife’s 1’st cousin that they raised. Me and wife been lucky so far. Only thing I done was hand sanitizer at first. My son lives next door and him snd wife had it 3 times, kids none. I was exposed bunch of times. When I get it I expect it to kill me. Waiting on news where your moving south ideas go. I’d say Texas but way too damn hottttt.

Several years ago someone posted pics. of a Jerry-rigged fixture to spin a barrel on drill press for filing out the steps I think. I have a pitted barrel I’d like to save same way. Just wondering if anyone remembers the post ? A cousin and my brother have lathes but not big enough.

I’ll get my books out today and do a little research.

Correction: the barrel is ‘06.

I have a 99 with .270 barrel riceone installed years ago. Firing pin and safety knob prices keeps me from dinking with it.

I bought laser bore sight for a 7x57 and got one for REM. 7mm Mag. Read reviews and is common problem with all brands. Crazy thing is sticker said 7mm, then noticed another sticker under it that was 30-30. Package has no other brand name or model number. Was suppose to be getting Sightmark SM39032.
