    Was your rifle the one in MROJ? I know yours was in the new Type 99 book.

    If the rifle is in original condition, I would not recommend rechambering it as you will lose alot of money and you will ruin a historical rifle. I have heard of 257 roberts being a good caliber for rechambering.
