  1. As long as he has Twitter He wins. He can get out "His" message in "His" own words. Nothing will be left for the media to selectively edit or report. I like it. Ralph
  2. I just bought a Marlin 336SC off gun broker. It's a 1958 vintage rifle so I could use my C&R license to buy it. The description said it was in very good condition with bluing at 90%. It should arrive in about 10 days or so. I'll post a few pictures when it gets here. Any how I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the 35 Rem. Any tips or trick would be helpful. If anyone has any brass, bullets or dies know longer needed I'll be needing them also. Thanks Ralph
  3. I have several projects I want to do over the next year or 2. I need to finish my 8mm Yugo. I have Barrels and Receivers for a 243 on a Yugo. 7x57 on a Turk and 30-06 on a German 98 action. I just need to get off my but and invest a few hours a week. Ralph
  4. I didn't support Trump at first. I liked many things that all the canadates wanted to do. In the end it was ABC. I think he may be the leader we need to bring the country back after Obamas B.S.. I don't think he could make the counter any worse. Ralph

    He Won!

All the lib-tards I work with were acting like big cry babies. Now they protesting all across the country. If Conservitives or Republicans did that they would call out SWAT and open fire.
  6. Good for you FC. I pimp stores like that all the time. Being a retail Manager, I can tell that's how the game is played. Studies have shown that a satisfied customer will tell about 10 people of their experience. A pissed off customer will tell everyone they know, with the internet now the world. I have even told a Manager give it to me for the price I want. Be pissed off now or you can get pissed off all over again when I complain. Your District Manager will call ream you out. You'll call me and kiss my ass to come back and buy it from you at a bigger discount. It works. Great price on the Taurus. I bought one for my Daughter ( in pink) a few years back. It had some feeding issues out of the box. I sent it back to Taurus and they fixed it under their life time warranty.
  7. Her, Bill and many for her inner circle will get pardoned if she looses. Still on the Trump Train! Ralph
  8. I have had a lot of special needs folks work for me over the years. Most were great, positive and loving life. They are hard working people, rain or shine they were there. I had a guy that walk to work everyday. We had a snow storm of 15 inches that shut the store down. He was there. I had to go pick him up and take him home. I knew he wouldn't miss work.
  9. I go with the ABC rule. ANYBODY BUT CLINTON!!!!!!!!!! Trump may start running the country like a business instead of a charity. Ralph
  10. I agree. This may be start of a dangerous summer.
  11. My beer is Miller Genuine Draft. Next to impossible to find in the land of Anheuser Busch land. All the local stores have AB products 20 to 1. Glad to hear you found your PBR, I'll raise a MDG to you both. Ralph
  12. Wow, our April fools pranks are tame in comparison.
  13. Jim, I'll let you know how the 06 is when finished. You have my number. If you come to St. Louis give me a call and We'll go have a beer. Thanks again for the loan. Ralph
  14. At a gun show last weekend I bought a "Hillary for prison 2016" bumper sticker. Gotten lots of thumbs up from other drivers since I put it on my truck. Ralph
  15. How many of the protesters car had out of state plates? Just like in Ferguson and the Trump rally last week most were out of state people. Law Enforcement should check ID's and jail all out of staters for peace disturbance. Ralph
  16. Hey Jim, the tap arrived yesterday. I ran it in and out a few times with a lot of cutting oil. Bam it worked like a charm. I could hand thread my Douglas 30-06 barrel. I looked at the threads to see if the was an "uneven" area or a section that might have been out of round. Everything looked fine. The problem must have been war time productions standards might have slipped or something. Thanks again Jim. I'll get your tap in the mail on Monday. Ralph
  17. That's one that wouldn't be shown on the main stream media.
  18. It actually sounds fun. We've been talking about getting a RV for when we retire. Ralph
  19. Rod let me know what the cost would be to get it shortened and shipping and i'll cover it. Thanks Ralph
  20. I did a post today about a 98 action that I couldn't get a new barrel to screw into. After some suggestions I came to the conclusion that I need to chase the receivers threads. Does anyone have a large ring (1.1x12) tap and handle I could rent. Please let me know. I would hate to but on from Midway for $85 plus shipping if someone has one just sitting on the bench. Thanks Ralph
  21. Update, I tried DR. Hess advice. I could screw the original barrel back on half way with the action wrench. It did require some force. I turned it a thread then backed off. I got it to were I could turn it by hand after several back and fourth several times. I think I'll need to chase the receiver threads with a tap. I'm going to post a thread about wanting to rent a receiver tap. Thanks Ralph
  22. I picked up a 98 barreled receiver (bnz 41 ) at last weeks gun show. It had been D&T and stripper clip hump removed. The work looked very well done. Any how I unscrewed the original barrel. It came off fairly easy. A lot less effort than the Yugos and Turks I've done. It did require the action wrench to unscrew it completely. It wouldn't turn by hand after being broke loose. I got out the Douglass 30-06 barrel that is going to be installed and it wouldn't screw in more than 1 thread. So I got out a 243 barrel and again wouldn't thread in either. I tried to screw the original barrel back on an it would only screw in about a thread and a half. All 3 barrels will screw into a Youg action I have by hand. I have a Weller bolt lapping tool. The 98 adapter will thread in perfectly. Anyone have any insights on this? Ralph
  23. That is really neat. It would make a great option for those of us that can't carry at work. As an aside. My wife just went through "active shooter training" at her work place. The training was the local PD. The options they were told were told were " flee, hide and resist". They are to resist by throwing things at the shooter, ie. chairs, staplers, phones ect. No weapons are allowed. They are worried about a shoot out with an "untrained" employee. This even applies to the vets working there. Her boss is a USMC Bronze star holder from the Gulf. Even He isn't trained to respond. She said F### them get the PPK out of the safe it's going in my purse. Ralph
