The larger point is that this is standard operating procedure for the school, period. And this is the reason people like NBC's David Gregory send their kids to Sidwell, they know their kids will be protected from the carnage that befell kids at a school where armed guards weren't used (and weren't even allowed). Key words IMO are "people like". Does anyone here have any definitive confirmable info regarding David Gregory's kid's school?? It would be helpfull to show the hypocracy of the ELITES if we all had such info. Since when is shining the light of reason on societal changes which have led individuals to the belief that murdering total strangers and innocent children in the quest for 15 minutes of infamy a bad thing. Mental nut jobs in this country are at an all time disporportionate high in relation to population growth because of these same liberal societal changes. Armed guards in schools is a viable deterant to these same nut jobs. Latest whacko shot himself as soon as he heard first responders. Nut job in Oregan mall shot himself as soon as he saw an armed citizen pointing a gun at him. If you do away with the "FREE FIRE KILL ZONES" allowed by the "NO GUNS ALLOWED" locations of schools and malls. The nut jobs will quit flocking to them for their carnage and possibly stay home and shoot themselves as they should. If you think that Feinstein, Bloomberg, O-hole, Pelosi, Schumer, and Lautenberg are correct that what is needed is another senseless law that only restricts law abiding citizens instead of criminals and wackos, that GOA and NRA should come to some compromise you are part of the problem. 20,000+ compromises to the 4 simple words "SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED" have done nothing to stop or even slow the criminal elements in society. As far back as 1911 with the NY Sullivan act only guaranteed that NY would have the highest violent crime rate especially gun related crimes of the 20th century. Hey, Thanks for that, very informative. Busts a lot of BS myths where ammo/fire is concerned. Far less damage caused than even I imagined. IMO, thousands of rounds of ammo cooking off in a fire is far less hazard than a gallon can of gasoline.
