lots of good people on here..most site i visit i do"nt dare post a reply because someone will flame me for spelling or being a bubba .to many people want to be the expert and will not tolerate any other veiws..

clemsons right on....with a new reamer you"ll find it want take much pressure to get a bite.. go slow, clean often...clean chamber good when you check headspace...oil and metal cuttings can give bad reading..

any thing you can build someone can break into...even bank vaults are rated by time...the time it takes for someone to break in..i used a 8ft.round steel tank 5/16" thick steel 8 ft high..took a sheet of ply wood and cut round shelfs for the rifles to set on..i had 26 guns stolen once had serial no. on all..found 1 in a pawnshop but owner said he just couldn"t remember who he bought it from..

i"ve built both ways ..i use rivets most times now...i no longer remove the barrel ...just drill out the old rivet and use a air hammer to drive in a new rivet..just make sure the rivet is long some that it expands in the hole..and use a modified bolt cutter to mash the mag rivets..you can flair the trigger guard rivets with a center punch.. i"ve used bolts but i like rivets better..

also watch out on some turkish actions the left side of the action can hit the round stud on the wheeler jig and tilt the jig off center.the instruction sheet that came with my jig has more info on this....

i think a sticky would be the way to go..

i"ll let mike speak on this...i have reamers in the coop.and have used many others...for me the coop has paid for its self.. mike does a great job getting them out...with the cost of things going up i"m sure rifle building will be going down.

this is tuff without seeing your setup....is the location where you bolt the blades flat so you can bolt a long straight edge piece of metal across the whole base, out a couple feet longer than what the blades would be...this will give you somthing better to EYE as you bent it back..do you see where i"m going with this? like i said hard to say without seeing your problem

fix it right ...always the best way to go..

a small amount of the barrel needs to be removed and reinstalled...if it has no sights it would be a simple job..getting a new barrel may have the same problem ...so just fix this one ...or don"t resize your brass ....where are you located ?
