  1. Well it`s happening. P.T.R. Ind. from Ct. are moving out of state. There are going to S.C. & the move should be final by the years end. They are taking 23 of there people with them & will hire about 140 after the move. The rest (gun co) will follow?

  2. I was at the range today that I`m a member. A day shooter & family stopped by to do some handgun shooting. got to talking & he was from down under. Been here about 10 years & still has kin back home land. I asked him about the firearm laws & he said it started with gun reg. & they were charged $25.00 when they reg all there guns. From there it went to $50.00 a year for the reg permits. Then they were told by there gov that it would be a yearly fee of $75.00 per gun for a permit for every gun owned & reg. When the people complained, there were told if they didn`t want to pay, then turn them in. If you don`t turn them in we will come & get them because we know were there are. He said that it didn`t matter if you were a hunter, target shooter or collector one way or another they got them & detroyed them , old, new, antique, or a collecter firearm, it didn`t matter.

Now days a person can have a rifle or shotgun only by going through a lot of red tape & you have to have a good reason to own one. You are a target shooter or hunter, & you must have proof of were you shoot or hunt by permission forms. No one can have a firearm for home defence, no handguns, no semi-auto`s & only 3 shot mags. But he said, the bad guys still have there guns.

AMERICAN GUN OWNERS BETTER WAKE UP BEFORE IT`S TO LATE.

  3. Hi, IMHO any one can modify just about anything if they have the know how & want to do it. My question; Has anyone taken a Mauser sporter stock that has the action screw spacing of 7 5/8" & opened it up for an action screw spacing of 7 7/8"? If so, how did it turn out & were there any problems doing it?

  4. As I understand it.

Any euro 7.62/39 before 70 is considered corrosive and any asian <China> as well.

Hand loads unless he used very old primers.40 years or more are clean.

Any question run a patch of windex down the bore and a q tip along the bolt face

    karl.

    A Windex man, alright.

  5. Remember boys and girls, and any homosexuals and lesbian communists that may be monitoring this, mental case like this could never happen without the full backing of the people you elected to represent you and your values over the last 50-years... Yep, that includes those bible embracing conservative Republicans that have been selling the US down the river to the homosexual lesbian communist despots while smiling in your face swearing they're there, for you.

Remember that next time you shake some cock sucker's, I mean politician's, hand, and give him or her or it, your vote.

Q Carl, you are right on brother.

  6. What is going on in our country? Are people really that paranoid that they are buying anything & everything that has to do with firearms? No ammo, if your are a reloader, no bullets, no powder, no primers, & the latest that I just checked on, no reloading dies. All out of stock, Lee anyway. Did all these mfg just stop producing or what? When I go to range any more, I don`t even shoot my cartrige guns, all I shoot is my BP ML guns & I guess BP will start to dry up too? When is it going to let up?

  7. I`ve asked other places & still haven`t gotten a clear answer, so I`ll ask here & hope for the best. Subject pistol is a Colt 1911 45 ACP to carry concealed. With a round in chamber & hammer cocked & thumb safety on, just what does that safety do? In other words, what does it lock to prevent you from firing it? Does it lock the hammer or trigger? Also, with round in chamber why can`t it be carried with the hammer at half cock, isn`t this a safety also? Thanks in advance.

  8. OK lets say the rifle is a mauser 98 & you have a timney trigger with the safety on it that`s for said rifle. Can you do away with the safety lever on the trigger & just use the safety on the bolt? Why would you want do this, because you got the trigger NIB for next to nothing & you want keep the rifle stock? Thanks in advance.
