Hijack away. We're pretty mellow about that. Beautiful stock on your's.
Thank you. I picked up that blank for very little as there was a very bad flaw in the forend. That is why the rifle has such a short forend. Barrel is only 19" long.

Apologies for the hijack.
So, RHA, (Welcome to The Board...),
Thank you.
I have followed along for a couple of years. Signed up a year and a half ago, but hadn't posted anything until prompted by seeing my auction. The OP was great to deal with, so I jumped in.
Apologies for the hijack.

Doc, I believe RHA was the seller of the actionless rifle. He used the missing action to build the engraved beauty.
Wonderful work RHA.
Yes, I sold actionless rifle for my MENTOR.
I hope the day comes that I can build a rifle as nice as the one pictured, but I did NOT build the one I pictured. IBoth the gunmaker and the client who had the rifle built are good friends of mine. I keep these pictures around to inspire me.
This is one I built. Though I think it nice, it still lacks a lot in the fine details.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=436882065 ok I got this today
But the barrel this guy sent me immaculate the bore and chamber are like unfired he told me the customer just wanted the action so he bought the best 1909 he could find so the smith built him a 3006 on it and he had these parts left over. So what do yah think. aaron10
Hey! That auction looks familiar....
The action now looks like this:

I have a couple of reamers I would donate.
Posted on the Mauser Central thread, but no reply with instructions how to move forward.
Is the Co-Op still functioning.
