At this point in time, NO open heart surgery needed. What a relief it was to here this. She is still going to be there for another 2 weeks cause of more foot surgery. 11. hey guys, my daughters' car still has the continental kit== It's a 55 Hudson Hornet Hollywood 2DR Hardtop. The best thing is it's all original and STILL RUNS! I'm going to let my daughter chime in just for a moment if that's alright. Lets see when my brother got his car a few years ago he asked if it was on the floor or the tree. Curb fellers = wiskers leaded gas was regular not the lowest grade book covers were either the comics or grocery bags not clothe that stretches gropcery bags were paper not for the environment but because the only other choice was fabric it was still possible to syphon gas without a special tool suicide doors weren't just doors that swang back and smacked you one pistol grips was a kind of gear shifter standard tranys were just that standard homemade wasn't cute it was neccisary alcoholpop was your dad not a drink organic wasn't a marketing ploy it was because you couldn't afford synthetic fertalizer nuking was having an A-bomb dropped not cooking and Donna Reed would never have gotten her skirt stuck in the dishwasher - she was the dishwasher - and her pearls in the sauce because she knew what she was doing (sorry did this about 2 weeks ago)

    9.3x57

got a ? how would the 9.3 do with an 06 case. whould the case stretch ok w/o splitting. Dave OOOPs! just realized the 9.3 62 would equal a 9.3x64 or an 06 case. sory for the oversite. PS. I'll do better.

    9.3x57

howdy nelsdou, I too hear the 9.3x57 is a killer gun. the 35x57 sounds like a good one also. I really like the 8x57 and 8-06. I'm always looking fro a bigger gun. keep us posted if you go with 35x57. Dave
  14. hello kyle, i've built a 8mm-300win mag with a 8x57 barrel on lr m98 action. it produced with a 180gr nos bt a 335fps mv with 3 shot 1.5" group at 150 yds. works great. the reason i used a 300win mag case is that i had 350 case extra plus a 300mag reamer. the 338 case will feed a little better cause they are .120" shorter. enjoy the challenge my friend the pwr from either one will equal the 8x68s. Dave PS i almost forgot, the mv's i've achieved was also with a 29" barrel. the 23-24b will be less.
  15. well,outa the first 7 i only knew 1. i ain't too bright huh!dave
  16. hey AZ, in my day the upper class sippers was drinking T.Bird and TJSwan. pretty good stuff when you can't afford the $7.00 bottles. and I'm not that young atleast anymore HAHA Dave
  17. Question, is 303 savage anything like 303 enfield or 303 springfield? i don't know the diff if there is. if they're the same, midway has 303 british brass from rem. Just a thought and my .03 worth. Dave
  18. well, my wife says that it's all Sam's Choice at Wal Mart, Sam's Choice White or Sam's Choice Red. personally I'd go with Chef Boyardeaux. It would go great with spagettios. HA. Dave
  19. ihope I'm not out a line but I went to the german site again. this time I got in so you can read the articles in english. so if anyone is interesated, here's how i got in. I clicked on to the site. click on the words spaten statt bajonett scroll down to bottom of page and click on the word hauptplatz the next page will show a man. to the right in green and yellow it will say top 100 flashing hunting. click onto the words english articles and you can then read and check the rest of the site in english. I hope this helps everyone here. the articles are super to read. DAVE :
  20. horsefly, i agree with ya 100%. plugged return hole will cause this.i too doubt it's the bearings. we've had some engines where the spring had broke in the pump or got stuck in the relieve position. high volume pump should have been doing that even before 40k on miles like you just stated, i agree, you are right though, they can cause a problem. az- hope all this gives you somewhere to look for your problem. hope i was'nt dumping on anyone. just my 3.5 cents worth. was 2 cents but with inflation ya know. Dave
  21. az, when you rebuilt the engine, was the pressure reg checked, was the reg's piston side to side clearance checked, also has the pickup tube with the screen been checked. has the pickup screen loosened any. sounds to me like a possibility opf the oil cavatating when coming of a fast run.what is the o/pressure at idle, at high rpms. at idle see readings ,then snap throttle , it should instantly jump at least twice what idle is. what year is the engine. i can get more info at work on our mitchell on demand system. Dave
