  5. Hi everyone. Just thought I'd let ya know that I'm still alive. I know I haven't been on hardly.. Went to my Doc's this past Mon. The shoulder surgery didn't completely take. The muscle on the top of the rotator cuff tore again. The sutures dissolved fast than I healed. So looks like I'll be going in for more surgery on the same shoulder.. This means I'll be off work for another 9 months estimated. So I'll be off line for atleast 6 weeks, unless I learn to type with 1 finger.you all take care will be back soon. I enjoy this site alot....SS/Dave

  11. Here is my recipe for cilantro pesto sauce. Hope you like it. Cilantro Pesto Sauce 1 cup Cilantro 2 cloves Garlic 1/2 Medium Onion 1/2 tsp Salt 1/2 tsp Black Pepper 1/4 tsp Chili Flakes 1 tsp Brown Sugar 1/4 tsp Cumin 2 Med Green and 2 Red chiles..Your choice of chiles. 1 cup Olive oil Your choice of brand. 2 1/2-3lbs of partially smoked chicken, deboned is best. You can adapt the salt, sugar and pepper flakes to taste. We also use red and green chiles as a grilled side dish Roughly chop peppers and cilantro. Put all ingredients into food proccessor. blend the ingredients and add oil till the desired consistance it achieved. Pour the sauce over the partially smoked chicken and marinate for atleast 4 hrs. Then grill the chicken till done. I use the marinate for a dipping sauce. The sauce should do about 3lbs of deboned chicken... I hope you like the sauce. I have varied the recipe different ways. I like it on smoked pork also. To which I add pineapple and mangos in the sauce.. Works great on beef to which I'll add bacon bits.. home made of course... Wonder if I should put in a disclaimer Enjoy the recipe....Dave
  12. LC,yeah, I'll give you my recipe.I'll have to write it down first. As for the chiles. here we get the red pasilla peppers. normally you get them green but where I live the mexicans like them red too.You can roast your favorite green chiles too.I'll get back to you by monday...Dave
  13. I use a lure jensen big chief elec smoker.we live in an apt. I smoked it for 5 hrs, then put in oven at 375 deg for 2.5hrs i used apple wood chips for smoke. the pork was smoked for 5hrs but the chicken was in for 2.5hrs. It was good. will finish the chicken on the grill with a cilantro pesto sauce and red chillies. Will take the chicken and shred it then put in a salad. We like it that way...Dave

  17. I thought I'd share with some of you musical peoples my little recording setup.. It ain't much but it's functional..I don't have the vid cam set up yet...The unit on the left is the mixer. The center unit is the drum machine, the far right is a marantz turn table. And of course the big one is one of the keydoards. the 2 little units behind the keyboard is a digital reverb for the shure mic,the other is a tremelo for the guitars.. I know is don't look like much but it does the same as those really fancy bigger units..I'm happy with it..
  18. Ok Ron, It's ok to drool, just don't slobber on the puter screen. ..I have 75 more cars, rails, trucks.semi's with trailers. 42 motorcycles. However,I won't bore you guys with all of them. 20. The metal body was a first for me to see too. My snap-on dealer told me later that they only made 1k of them just for snap-on..Mine is # 205. It was a project not for the kiddies for sure. Has 75 pcs and the body is baked on enamel..It was difficult to clear away the chrome for the glue on the real small pieces. It took 18 hr for prep, and glueing to do..has metal screws holding the chassis and body together too.I don't usually toot my own horn but I will for this project. The waiting is what wore me out the most..Waiting for the crappy glue you get nowdays to stick and dry..Thanks for all the great job things.I appreciate it..I don't buy too many models, just the ones that are unique......Dave
  21. !!!CHEERS!!! and have a great B-day Ken...Dave

It has 300 pieces to assemble. The engine can even be rotated over by turning the flywheel...This will keep me busy...Thanks buddy for the cool prject,,,Yuo know who ya are.. Thanks for puttin up with me!!! Dave

  24. In my 8-06 I use rem pspcl's 185grs w/ IMR 4064 . makes a clean kill to 280 yds on russian boars here in Nor-Cal..I have had good luck with Nos 180gr bt/bt's but the rems seem to hold together better. I haven't tried the nos parts in 200gr yet but am saving them for the bruises coming from the 8mm-300mag. I use hdy 125 sp's for jacks here, devistation for sure out to 325 yds. past that I can't see to hold steady even w/ a 12pwr scope..just my 3 cents..DAve
