Sailormilan2
Can anyone recommend a gunsmith who can mill the ejector groove in my 1911 Gov't slide so that a 38 Super ejector can be used?

Sailormilan2
1911 ejectors are pinned to the frame. Clemson Yes, but if I install the 38 Super ejector onto the 45 acp frame, the 45 acp Gov't slide will not fit over the ejector. The 38 Super ejector is wider and taller. So, I need to have the ejector groove in the Gov't slilde milled wider and taller to fit the 38 Super ejector. Once I do that, I can then switch slides and barrels so that with one frame, I can shoot mulitple calibers.
