AzRednek
Cool video!! About 1960 or 61 my dad got a pass on to the Naval Air Facility and premium seating to watch the Blue Angels. After the show we got a tour through the bone yard the Navy facility shared with Luke AFB. Mostly WW2, Korean war vintage propeller planes and what I think were named Sabre jets. Being about 10 years old I was thrilled after saluting the Navy and AF personnel. They immediately returned the salute. I've been hooked on air shows since. FC
That might just be a bucket list item. SAC Museum west of Omaha is good. The National Infantry Museum at Benning is interesting. Wouldn't it be neat to see the war museum in London?
AzRednek
If I ever get the money..i have to get one of those old WW ll fighters. karl That's definitely a bucket list item as the WW 2 fighters are a multi-millionaire's hobby. A former co-worker won a raffle and got a short ride in a B-17. From what he told me of the pre-flight tour. The plane's owner claimed the glass dome for one of the machinegun turrets cost in excess of 50 G's.
