gun nutty
Sometimes the world can actually seem pleasant: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/09/04/navy-exonerates-chaplain-accused-being-anti-gay.html?intcmp=hpbt4 Too bad he's still having to retire. Hopefully they'll get the POS who started this fiasco.
karlunity
Until the Navy is restored from PC ism, this ruling good as it is, will not be enough. karl
gun nutty
The Navy and Marine Corps are the two most convervative branches; they have both been the lone holdouts on the PC movement. Had he been in another branch, he'd already be drawn-and-quartered.

AzRednek
Times have sure changed. During WW 1 My Grandfather was an Assistant Chaplin. After it was discovered he had a quickie shotgun wedding before going overseas. He was removed as an assistant and no longer permitted to work as an usher during the Protestant and Jewish services. He was allowed to continue as an Alter Boy in the Catholic services. Grandpa felt the anti-Catholic minister was behind it.
FC
Times indeed have changed since the depression-era people died. It has not been for the best. Back in the 80s, in the Air Force, I had a boss who was a dirty old man. I got poked fun at for being a Christian. I asked him what the country would be like if the majority of people were like him? Well, it's happened!
