karlunity
I was surprised but the game is a long way from over.Too early to tell. The last two gop types who won Iowa lost and on the Dem side Bill clinton lost in 92 so it is far from over for Trump. This is but the start of the game in that Cruz I could be happy with but that being born in Canada issue? I am not sure how that plays out. Rubio may well pick up some speed , I was surprised that he came in as well as he didhe is that establishment guy now that Jeb SEEMS down. But the race is far from closed. Sanders surprised all I think. He was about 40 to 50 pt behind at one point and the DNC, the Media and the money saw him as a joke, a straw man to run against Clinton, and he proved that he is the man she first MUST beat..Keep an eye on Sanders karl
gun nutty
Clinton beat Sanders, but as the result of 6 coin tosses: http://politics.slashdot.org/story/16/02/02/2045222/perfect-coin-toss-record-broke-6-clinton-sanders-deadlocks-in-iowa She won 6 of 6 tosses. With her luck, imagine what she could do with $10,000.... EDIT: Well, damn press excluded Sanders' coin tosses as well: http://www.npr.org/2016/02/02/465268206/coin-toss-fact-check-no-coin-flips-did-not-win-iowa-for-hillary-clinton So, of around 12 tosses, each got about 50%. That's more in line with the primary results (and the odds). It's almost as though the press was out to get her now too. END EDIT In related news, we are one step closer to the zombie apocalypse: http://www.foxnews.com/world/2016/02/02/new-zealand-hit-with-string-vampire-attacks.html?intcmp=hplnws First the Iowa caucus, now this. Bunker time.
AzRednek
I fear Bernie Sanders as he could easily become out next president. If US voters go to the polls as they did twice for Obama. Voting for the candidate that offers the most free stuff he could beat the Republican.
karlunity
You know I tried for about 20 minutes..the coin toss thing? The very best I got was 4 out of 6. karl

karlunity
You guys know that I am for Trump Still I have to say that I am pleased that Sanders is giving Clinton a run for her money. She just expected a royal march to the WH. karl
ken98k
In my opinion Trump is only running against her to help her get elected. Trump has long been close friends with the Clintons. And suddenly he is a republican? The American people have short memories. https://www.google.com/search?q=trump+clinton&biw=1152&bih=695&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&sqi=2&ved=0ahUKEwjV8Pi_6d_KAhVR-2MKHY_zDRkQsAQIIw
Dr.Hess
That is a distinct possibility, Ken. That is how Uncle Bill got elected the first time with Perot taking the vote away from Bush The First. Of course, had Bush The First not pushed his gun control executive action through (which we still have), he would have been re-elected. AzRednek
I really hope Trump is telling the truth about his feeling toward the 2nd as he says in the 30 second video.
karlunity
I like Trump but I dislike Clinton more and WILL not go third party. I fell for that in 92 and went for Ross. I do not think that a man with the ego of trump would take the loss of face in running and losing to help anyone. Of course he may be set up as I think Ross by his Ego. But WHO ever runs against Clintion in Nov gets my vote even Jeb. karl
AzRednek
I'm with you Karl having bit the Ross Perot bug myself. I really think we will be seeing a Trump/Rubio ticket vs Clinton/Sanders. It could possibly be a Sanders/Clinton ticket but if they're successful Bernie better hire a food taster. Of all the Republicans I mistrust Christie the most after he has flip-flopped on guns. Christie has never answered the question about his change toward guns. He answers by going into a long speech about the importance of and his support of the 2nd. Obama also claimed to be a strong supporter of the second in both campaigns. Jeb is so much in the pockets of donors no telling which way for sure he'd go on any issue. About the only thing Jeb has done is pump millions into the economy.
karlunity
Az. You are right. Christie is a northeast anti pol or he would NEVER have been elected in NJ. That you can take to the bank. We would be better off with Clinton and a GOP congress as at least they would than fight her. A Gop Congress would go with Christie to support their own and a Dem Congress with either Hill or Christie?? Think french or english gun law. I know about the court and the Second but they( the judges) can "SEE" things in the Constitution as they will. karl
Horsefly
I drank the Perot Kool-Aid myself and am am still embarrassed about it,but it taught me an important lesson about politics.I must admit. As long as Hitlery doesn't win,I'll be all right.Old bernie sucks, but after the last 7 years,it'll take a lot to upset me.I said in '08,that after 9/11,there was no way this country would elect someone with a rag-head name and no experience except being a community organizer,so the socialist bernie may be our next president, and maybe after 8 years of him, maybe we can go full communist. If you can't beat them, join them.Millions that died fighting communism is a small price to pay.It sure is early to be so pizzed off.Maybe another pot of coffee and a 30 Keystone will calm me down. AzRednek
Looks like Rubio bit the dust tonight!! Christie was some what impressive but I still don't trust him. Dr Carson was ignored. Jeb looked like a fool taking on Trump over eminent domain. Trump's response to water boarding made every lib's blood boil.
FC
Rubio can't be trusted. In fact, how can we make anybody keep a campaign promise? All we have is their history to go on.
