gun nutty
sock-oh, if I remember correctly. It's also "lew-pold", not "lia-pold". One of the rags had a whole list of jumbled names... Swore-off-ski, etc.
AzRednek
Sock-o sounds Japanese, Say-ko sounds Italian. It was pronounced sock-oh one a tv show by two different people. Watching satellite tv programs like Guns'n'Gear, American Rifleman and Guns and Ammo. I have discovered a few I or they mispronounced. Nay'-gant, nuh gant' ah ris'-ka or are is' saka. A Spaniard I met pronounced Mauser with S instead of a Z. Garrand seems to be a sore spot pronounced various ways. Ger and guh rand, the G pronounced as a J sometimes simply as M-1 grand.
