FC
Our site was attacked by malware. We have enemies- be it Democrats, Red Chinese, anti-gun crowd, BLM, George Soros, or Putin. Screw 'em! It was supremely painful getting the site back up though.
Clemson
Well I, for one, am mighty glad to see you back on line. If you need financial help, say so. Bill Jacobs

Dr.Hess
Woot!! Glad we're back up. Thanks for all the work that took, Tony. Any luck with logs? Or if they aren't enabled, turning logging on?

brokengun
Thank You for your hard work on maintaining this site. The Bolsheviks hate freedom of the people and will do anything to stop it including attacking this site
FC
I'll try tonight when I'm home to ask if Security has logs. Doubt it. BlueHost didn't do it. I'd about given up hope on the site. Invision, BH, and Security were all pointing at each other.
pacrat
What Clemson said...........glad you're back online........word even spread to other gun forum sites. Let us know if you need us to chip in to keep it going. I'm always an easy touch.
FC
Actually bills came due around Christmas, but I said I wouldn't hit people up at Christmas. I've had about $395 in bills for the site around the beginning of this year for BlueHost, domain registration, Invision software renewal, and Securi.net website security. Donations would make the piggy bank look a little better. If you IM me I can send you my address. Thanks.
FC
Dr. Hess, the logs are on our CP admin site. Do those fit the bill? You probably know how to read them better than me.
Dr.Hess
OK, I'll look through the logs. Already found something out of place. SQL errors from a user: sporteri_sporter on the day we went down. I don't know if that is some kind of system account or what. I don't see it. Dr.Hess
No, those logs are useless. The are Board only, or Invision related, I suppose. I think we need the web hosting logs, bluehost or whatever. They should have FTP logs, if that's what we think happened. Right now, we don't know what happened, right? Just that the files weren't there anymore, so someone must have deleted them. Tony, be sure to change the password on your logins to bluehost and yahoo. I would not be surprised if they got your PW from the big yahoo hack that brought down the democrats.
FC
So far I've put in the request with Securi. Tonight I'll plan to call BlueHost, since they don't let you put in written tickets anymore. I have the Yahoo login where you acknowledge by phone. FC
Now Securi is saying it was an issue with their firewall (after sending a notice that malware hit the site). I don't know what to believe?
