The Army will help with her tuition for six years of service. If she makes it to vet school I'll have to sell off property or kick the bucket as it will cost six figures. Im not sure how much the Army will cover the cost past college but if she completes vet school she will still belong to the Army. Ive heard but don't know if its true. Veterinarian school is harder to get into than medical school. She is a brain, perfect grades so I hope she makes it even if I'm no longer around. Dr.Hess Posted July 29, 2019 Report Share Posted July 29, 2019 I can't say I would recommend it either. Most of the vets I've seen are seriously cut-throat when dealing with their customers. There has to be a reason for that. And the vet students I knew at TAMU said that a love of animals was beaten out of them, in so many words.
