ken98k
I went to my favorite campground last weekend for a little peace and quiet. Very relaxing.
Dr.Hess
That looks very nice. Alaska is beautiful. I have a Honda Foreman about that size.

FC
So it's already cooling off, or is that the normal highs in the summer?

We are in early autumn now, leaves are changing fast and temps dropping. I'm really hoping for some sunny weather before snow hits!
FC
So snow is often on the ground Sept. through May?
Dr.Hess
I was in Valdez the day after Christmas once. It was sort of gray for a couple hours and that was it. Snow. I could handle that, but the Misses would not.

I would like to move there but real estate is almost non-existent and what does come available is horrendously priced.

It's a big state with very different weather regions. Where I live, in the "interior," we have very cold winters but we are known for the best summer weather in Alaska.
