I was watching a you tube "ANVIL"

Recall TYRVR ? I think he was a smith. He offered to re barrel a mauser for me. I  knew I did not have the cash  to spare. I had priced around and knew the cost, and Teachers were not paid a lot in my school. (But you were free to teach)  Still he being a nice guy was going to do it any way..   

I  could not accept of course.  But he was a most kind gentleman.

We all fixed up ole milsups from time to time, But a true smith is an artist.

He definitely is missed. It wasn’t until after he passed that I realized he was from Vinton  Virginia. The town was founded by my great great great grandfather and my great great great uncle. I would’ve had so many questions for him as I have never been there.
