FC
I used wood I had in stock. 3 different shades of leftover flooring. It was a pain in the rear, but it’s finally done.
Dr.Hess
That turned out nice. I have that type of flooring in my kitchen. It is oak, and was from the administration building of the University of Arkansas, which is in town. They were throwing it out, and the people who rebuilt this house picked up as much as they could and did the kitchen with it.
FC
I’m glad it was reused. Scraps can be used for bbq.
Dr.Hess
Oh, I have no shortage of oak. Most of my trees are oak, and depending on what you call a "tree," I guestimate I have between hundreds and thousands of them. I have a few leftover sections from when they made the floor. I sometimes give one to a really big UofA fan.
