I have a coleman lantern, a hi sierra tent, a 1911 a-1 hi capacity barbecue with a 5" x 45" skillet, an extyreme duty 9mm sub compact wading stick, a Kimber 5" 45 degree compass, a remington model 700 portable shaver with a 7mm head, etc. too much to list email me for a list, be sure to include your email address with your response as i am having difficulty with this new compouter and windows/craigslist mail so i have to send it direct. Thanks!! towmaneric@comcast.net

Don't you find it interesting that they allow all sorts of porn, profanity, immorality, recruiting of "partners," etc.l, but gun sales are not politically correct?

That's interesting, just the other day under the 'Wanted' section there was an ad in our local version just titled "Want a".

When you opened the ad it very clearly stated that the guy wanted a snub nose .38.

I didn't realize that Craig's list was anti gun or I'd have thought more about it.

If it hadn't just been 2 or 3 days ago, I might have forgotten about it.

I've approached a few sellers on Craig's List sellng guns in a round about way. Recall one listed something like, I'm doing this from memory and might not be exact. "HUNTING EQUIPMENT, 3006 TENT BY WINCHESTER, 12 GA SLEEPING BAGS WITH REMINGTON AIR MATRESS PUMP WITH WRENCH AND ACCESSORY TUBES", STEVENS SINGLE MANTLE 410 LANTERN".

I always respond to Craig's List gun ads by asking if they have a problem with me running the serial numbers before I buy the them. I usually lie by saying my brother is a cop and it will only take me a few minutes. Most the time I never hear back or get an email saying they have been sold already. Did have one that responed by emailing me all the serial numbers and a detailed description. It only takes getting caught with one hot gun and the cops could walk away with an entire collection. I steer clear of any firearm that feels just a little warm, not worth the risk. I was had once buying a hot gun at a yard sale and almost got my x-wife that was a cop at the time in trouble over it after she ran the serial number.

I bought a Remington bolt action in a pawn shop. Two years later the guy who owned it opened his gun cabinet and noticed it was gone. His grandson had pawned 5 of his guns. The guy wanted me to give it back, I refused. I said it was either stolen or it was not stolen. If it was stolen, I would hand it over to the cops when requested. This meant he would have to prosecute his grandson. He ended up paying me. As he was paying, he griped about the cost. I told him he should be grateful that I was good at dickering. I really thought that if I was going to be out a few hundred dollars, the grandson should be in jail. LL
