Spiris
I almost ran out to hug a tree! I appreciate God's Country too, but kinda scary that there's fanatic people like that in our society. Spiris

Bob58
I consider myself a conservationist, not a preservationist. Wise use is my belief. (see Genesis 9:1-3) I care about our forests and take our stewardship seriously, but that's a little too weird. I saw this article today... quite a concern for those who enjoy western North Carolina. http://www.charlotteobserver.com/104/story/182884.html
littlecanoe
WOW! That's kinda weird. Bob58, When I lived in GA we used to drive up to the mountains of NC quite a bit. We'd go across north GA and by Brasstown Bald and Black mountain and work our way up to the Highlands and Cashiers area. My wife and I honeymooned in that area. Franklin, Ashville, beautiful country. I love the smell of the Hemlock forests. Very sad to see that devistation. You're right on with the Stewardship.
