AzRednek
I've been visiting a local dealer after one of his employees told me they had some of these on order and on the way. He wouldn't know the price until they arrived. Well the one I wanted arrived and priced so ridiculously high I didn't even consider going into a negotiation mode after seeing the 849.95 price tag. Guess I'm showing my age, I figured it was going to be in the $5-600 range. Not even close, more like $850, a little less from J&G but a 3 1/2 hour round trip. A close friend has been bugging me bad to sell him my 1917 Brazilian S&W revolver. The game plan was to sell it to him and buy the new S&W but after seeing the price, just no way. I know S&W makes some beautiful revolvers but the price is just a rip-off. I know the dealer is entitled to a reasonable profit but I really think S&W is gouging the public on the prices of their classic revolvers. It doesn't even have adjustable sights. She's sure a beauty though, but 850 bux!!
