karlunity
Fellas. About a month ago, a fella who was going out of business, gave the school a Sharp AR-337 copying machine. It got "for the time being" put in the back of my class room. OK, I liked having my personal class copy machine...a few days ago the copies started to get a bit light and spotty. It did NOT say to "add toner" but the lady who had run the copy machine at school for 25 years told me that the machine needed toner, so I put in a jar. The way the sharp is made, you have to put in the whole jar. Any way..the machine started to leak toner all over the place. The "Copier lady" told me that is not a problem..just vacuum the machine out. Now I am sort of distrustful of her advice!!!!!!!! An idea of how to clean and restore the machine????? Can I just unload the extra toner some way? So far I have been unable to find a repair manual on the net. Karl
Jimro
If it is a dry powder toner then the vacuum method works fine. If it is an alcohol based toner, wait for it to dry before vacuuming.... Jimro
