FC
I got in front of another Mustang yesterday going home. Burned-out looking white woman with an Obama sticker. Obama is their homeboy here, so they love him in Hawaii. I have a Palin 2012 sticker on my car. At the stop light she gets close enough for her aging eyes to see my sticker, and shakes her head no for a long time and was laughing to herself. Jerk. We'll see who laughs come 2012. FC
I know she isn't perfect, but she is a leader, and far better than Obama. I don't see any other conservative leaders that inspire much of anything, and may make a run for president. Very thought provoking response to Barack Hussein Obama's Cairo love fest! Barack OBAMA said, in his Cairo speech: "I know, too that Islam has always been a part of America's story." AN AMERICAN CITIZEN'S RESPONSE: Dear Mr. Obama: Were those Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? Funny, I thought they were Native American Indians. Were those Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and Native American Indians. Can you show me one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution? Declaration of Independence? Bill of Rights? Didn't think so. Did Muslims fight for this country's freedom from England? No. Did Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the slaves in America? No, they did not. In fact, Muslims to this day are still the largest traffickers in human slavery. Your own 'half brother' a devout Muslim still advocates slavery himself, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as "pug nosed slaves." Says a lot of what the Muslim world really thinks of your family's "rich Islamic heritage" doesn't it Mr. Obama? Where were Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this country? Not present. There are no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King Jr. or helping to advance the cause of Civil Rights. Where were Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage era? Again, not present. In fact, devout Muslims demand that women are subservient to men in the Islamic culture. So much so that often they are beaten for not wearing the 'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a direct family member or their husband. Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights aren't they? Where were Muslims during World War II? They were aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler, reviewed the troops and accepted support from the Nazi's in killing Jews. Finally, Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th, 2001? If they weren't flying planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon or a field in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on our own soil, they were rejoicing in the middle east. No one can dispute the pictures shown from all parts of the Muslim world celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other cable news networks that day. Strangely, the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To many Americans, their silence has meant approval for the acts of that day. And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here in America. And now we can add November 5, 2009-- the slaughter of American soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major shouting "ALLAH AKBAR" who is a doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be counseling soldiers returning from battle in Iraq and Afghanistan. That, Mr. Obama is the "Muslim heritage" in America.
Dr.Hess
Sorry, Moslems have been a deep part of American history. One needs look no further than the Marine Corps' anthem. "... To the shores of Tripoli...."
FC
In honor of the laughing goofball, and the carload of dorks that mocked my brother-in-law, driving my car, I pledge no less than $800 for the next Republican candidate for president, unless he/she is a dufus. Amount may increase based on Obamamites responses in the future.

I don't see any other conservative leaders that inspire much of anything, and may make a run for president. People in the lower 48 are thrilled with her book tour but she was a big disappointment as governor of Alaska. In case you've forgotten, she quit. She has pretty much lost all her credibility here. She is a good cheer leader but not a real leader by any means. For the record: I am not a Palin fan or supporter. If she gets elected to the Presidency, it will be an incredible leap of stupidity and shallowness by the American people, which we will all sorely regret. Dr.Hess
A few comments from the peanut gallery: 1. Being laughed at by an Obamma lover is, well, sort of a compliment. They are so friggin clueless that anything that turns them upside down is a good thing. Personally, I would have pointed at them and busted out laughing myself. 2. I have my concerns about Palin as well. I dunno how much of this whole thing is just another setup. The media did a pretty good job destroying her last election. They can do it again. The people out here in the general population (see comment #1) are so stoopid that they will believe a SNL skit as factual. Think about that. 3. I was in Alaska regularly though the 80's. It was my observation that in general the people in Alaska (I was in the Kenai and Valdez areas) at that time were really rather lefty. That is, it was real easy to be anti-war in El Salvador and Nicaraqua when you're a quarter of the planet away. Not so much when it's a 3 day drive. It is also easy to be anti-gun or pro-anti-gun politician (for the lower 48) when they know darn well that such laws could never be enacted locally. Regan was thought of about like we think of The O. Anyway, if the lefties in AK don't like Palin, I'm not saying that's bad. Also, I am not convinced she is all we are being led to believe etiher. And Ken, I'm not calling you a leftie or picking on you at all, I'm just giving my observation of the area when I went through there 25 years ago. Alaska is the most socialist state I've ever lived in. We have bountiful natural resources but live on pork from the federal government. Large numbers of people move to Alaska just because this is the best state for welfare. If you don't want to work, come on up we'll take care of you. If you're a faggot, come on up, Alaska cater to queers. Alaska leads the nation on domestic abuse and sexual assaults. The majority of Alaskans work for the government in some form or other. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaska#Economy) Usually Alaskans vote republican but the elected officials are at the head of the line when it comes to handouts. There seems to be a new trend toward democrats. Why do I live here? I came for the hunting, the geographical beauty, and the idea of homesteading in the wilderness. The hunting is being ruined by lefties in the ADF&G. Most of Alaska is owned and managed by BLM, so forget homesteading. Texas, Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin are all starting to sound real good, but I’ll be 50 in a couple weeks and with no government pension, starting all over again is a dismal thought. Dr.Hess
Look at Arkansas, Ken. In the central portion of the state, it is just about as much wilderness as Alaska. Beautiful scenery as well. Not quite like Alaska, but it is really nice. And not near as cold. And no Griz, but some black bear. Plenty of deer. I drove to work the other day (after a month of the neighbors shooting them out of season) and had to stop as 17 crossed the road.
FC
Palin and I think the same and have the same outlook on life. Ron Paul thinks our gov't. did 9-11, so I can't take him seriously. We could sure use Ronald Reagan again. I remember how bad he was trashed too, and he was, "Just an actor."
