tinkerfive
In my other post Teresa Heinz was brought up. This reminded me of what a great Republican John Heinz was. This led me to wonder how men like him and Arnold who are such staunch Republican figures could choose mates that are ideologically so diametrically opposite. I've heard the saying 'opposites attract' but how many guys could have a mate that thinks the world should work so differently from the way they believe it should? Lets not turn this into a Repub. Vs. Dem. thing; it's just about mates being like minded Vs. opposite minded. Tinker P.S. Politically speaking, my wife and I are on the same page. karlunity
When the Hippy and I met, it was a cross of Woodstock and Parris Island. : ) Everyone on BOTH sides said: Those two??????????? 30 odd years and more and we are still together. karl
724wd
politically my wife and I cancel each other out. she's a teacher and has bought in to all the BS pushed by the NEA and WEA. opposites DO attract, as she's very different than i am in many facets, and lately it's kinda been pissing me off... pacrat
tinker, You been terribly lied to if you were told Aaaanold is a staunch Republican. He is nothing more than a Lib-Tard Gun Grabbing Republocrat who rubberstamps every Liberal BS bill that comes out of the Ca, Legislature. All he needs is a few bottles of booze and a dead woman in a car to be just like his wifes Dead Uncle Ted. I live in the Lib-Tard Socialist Republic of Commyfornia. BradD
Whoa! Pacrat's hyberbole is up there, but what he says is pretty much true. I don't know if opposites really attract that much, but I do know that money attracts. PR's right, they ain't that opposite. Looks like we'll probably get another Republowhatsit for gov this time around, who'll sign every lame gun control bill that someone throws in front of her. Dr.Hess
Yeah, Brad. And not only that, but I hear she's a big proponent of outsourcing jobs to India. As in she outsourced all the jobs at HP to India she could. How's that working out for us? Or, "Now that you've outsourced all the jobs to the third world, who's gonna buy your crap?" I escaped from the PRC in '79.
BradD
Doc, I escaped from PRC in 1954 and live in the unoccupied territories. Some day we'll take back our state from the foreign invaders. B.
