Rojelio
This is my first Martini and was rolling around ideas in my head as to chambering options. I'm thinking something on a 348 win. case. Also, who cuts a stock pattern for martinis and is there a source for extractors or is that something I'm going to have to try and alter for a different rim size than original which is 577-450. Believe it or not, the action threads are .980x 12 tpi. like a small ring mauser. Any help and sources for parts are welcome. Thanks, Roger
dirtyjim
nice find. a .416 alaskan would be neat or a .375/303 to keep it british.
Limpid Lizard
I think it is Treebone that makes a stock. Higher than hell though. Use a washer to weld in for the extractor, and then remove the excess. The action can be clamped on a angle plate and face plate to true. Cut a spud to run the indicators on. ken98k
I used to shoot trap with a few guys that had converted them to 12 ga trap guns.
Rojelio
Still haven't decided what to do with the martini. Yesterday I rebarreled a Ruger no. 1 for a friend and chambered it to 6.5/303 epps. That looks like an interesting round. Maybe I'll go that route. I loaded up a few rounds to fireform using 7x57 and 6.5x55 dies. I'll go shoot them tomorrow and see how it looks. Here's the loaded rounds. I'll take another pic of the fireformed brass and post tomorrow. Roger
Rojelio
Fireformed 6.5/303 epps next to a standard 303 british.
