I also want to put a white space between the stock and the recoil pad. The stock has about 10 coats of tung oil and a coat of paste wax. Next on to the Swede. For what it is worth, putting in a spacer between the pad and the stock will negatively affect the fit of the pad. If it were mine, I would skip the spacer, but then I am not a big fan of white line spacers anywhere on a rifle Good job all around! Brenden Posted December 17, 2010 Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 Thats a good looking gun Sir. I like the style of it, simple yet functional. Those cross-bolts add a nice touch to it as well. I would leave it as is too, but hey, its your gun make it how you like it. Nice! I hope to get my swede finished this week or next as well. Too darn cold to dura coat, so it will have to wait.
