jeffturk Posted March 16, 2011 Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 i have a Japanese Arisaka Type 38 and want to put a scope on it using a Leupold Std. mount. Leupold does not list it on there moount chart. I found a Weaver top mount for it (not using it) and it has a list of firearms that it works on, one being the Remington Model-7. Would the Model-7 Leupold mount one work on the Arisaka? i think i will have to do a little machining on the mount, but would it work? Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. Oand BTW...... Huber Concept Triggers, amazing! I put one on this and what a huge difference. ok, I look forward to some ideas and i know this is the place to get it. jeffturk Posted March 21, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 21, 2011 i got a live person on the phone from conetrol. i will be going with their base and ring system on the Jap rifles. a gunnur base with huntur rings on one (134.88) and a huntur base with huntur rings on the other (119.88) s&h is extra.
