WWI traveling exhibit was here in Topeka for one day this week. It is part of the WWI museum in Kansas City. If the exhibit comes to your town I would recommend you see it. Took my grandsons and really had a good time. The exhibit has great displays and artifacts. The neatest thing for me was a 1894 Colt machinegun. Tripod mounted and updated in 1914.Didn't know colt made a machinegun in 1894. After the exhibit we went to the Kansas National Guard museum. Talk about some nice shooting irons! They had them on display from black powder pistol's to a captured Russian tank and everyting in between. And it was all free so you can't beat the price.
