Took out the trusty M91-59 last week. It was Cold!! There is nothing more interesting than shooting a MN carbine, except for shooting the Mn 91-59 in below wind chills. You get the Typical FireBall of the mn and the feel of russian winter. Overall the carbine grouped quite well 9 out of 10 rounds in a 5" circle at 100 yards with Albanian FMJ. from a kneeling pos! The wind wasn't too bad because i was surrounded by trees. but it was fun! I love the smell of commie gunpowder! NW

Hey guys I picked up a yugo sks. I am looking to sporterize it. I was hoping Y'all have pics of your own to show off, maybe i can get some good feedback from you all on whatever. I am thinking about a ScoutScopes.com scout mount. Choat dragunov stock and possibly a bushnell red green multireticule sight, recoil buffer . well if you feel like sharing those pics and information on you sks sporterizing expieriences(good and bad) I'm all ears. ......Oh i was wondering about the gas tube should I put a new manufacture one on? what does the gas shut off valve on the yugo sks do? A local dealer near me is carrying SKS's. (I have never owned an SKS) He has multiple Yugo's in various conditions. He also has two Romanian Sks's in stock. Whats the better manufactured rifle Rom-Yugo the Yugos are nice and slightly cheaper, the Roms are decent also. is there a difference between these rifles other than the launcher? accurary difference or what? Looking for a Richards micro-fit thumbhole stock for a 18" barreled MN. Sombody told me before they had a couple extras and would sell me one. I like the ATI stocks but i dont feel confident buying one for the fact of people saying how they didn't fit at all. I tried one to and it didnt fit i sent it back to ATI. besides i want a thumbhole straightline or dual grip either of them would be good. If anyone out theres got an extra on their hands let me know. OT. Is there a williams FP sight that will fit the MN. I want to use one as backup sight. So i can put the Simmons Prohunter Handgun scope in the rear sight leaf mount. NW762

Hey guys I am looking for a m-39 finnish MN bunt can't find one. everyone up here has Ruskys. do you guys know of a good place to get quality Finn MNs so my dealer can contact and order one for me? I dont want to pay much more than 100 $. Ed
