I gave up on auctions. At the last one I attended I was bidding on an Enco bench top milling machine with a bad motor. I quit at $200 but the other morons kept bidding, it sold for $1,100. I went home an ordered and new Grizzly for $900. That was about 18 years ago and I've never been to a auction since.

I've been checking NW Arkansas real-estate, have not made up my mind yet though. the company I work for wants me to stay but I really hate them. Probably one of the most woke privately own corporations in the country. I'm looking for a small house or mobile home, preferably with a garage on a couple acres, nothing fancy.

As I get older I find that I have little patience with people in general and with liberal minded people in particular.

All the people that I've met who are fleeing Kalifornia are doing so for economic reasons only. They seem to bring their commie ideals with them. In my opinion, Kalifornia, Oregon, and Western Washington state should be treated as a leaper colony and no one allowed out.

Winters seem to last longer these days, and this year is no exception. We had below zero the week ending on the 15th. Then miraculously, temps hit the low 40's last week for a couple days. Now we got snow yesterday and only 8 above this morning.
