Thru the lugs would prolly be less problem then right thru the locking surface, (face) of the lug!!! Yup, I got one like that once.. Nice...pretty sure it came from an almost smith, as the front hole went right into the Chamber of the Barrel, also!!!! BTW that Czech would Not bother me one bit... the 1937 was put there at the factory as it was mfg specifically for Export from Czechoslovakia, in 1937... if it has a "P" serial prefix... it was likely earmarked for Japan.. or possibly ended up in China... like the one I have..which lived a kinda Bad Life.. You did better than I ever did on an R.Famage!!! Mine was a terrible mess... then..to make it worser... the original owner..D&T ed the receiver...right thru the barrel... yup... right into the chamber... not bad enough???? the rear hole went right at the damn place where the bolt lug contacts the receiver "ramps"... not very possible to any worser!!!! Or??? Maybe if one tries a bit harder???

My hope is the reamer Co-Op gets going again, and I can set the headspace on that 8mm barrel... the 8X57 may suit me as well as the 35 Remington!!!! Maybe
