This is at 50yds prone, with unknow mil surp 8mm. Id say not too shabby. Considering I havent shot in a while. Its a fowler shot on the far left and two 3 round groups shot as fast as I could load them. \ And here she is in all her glory.

The reciever measures roughly about 1 3/8th but the guard bolts only measure about 6 1/2 Am I missing something here. howdy

I just got my hands on a BZN 8mm rifle from 1942. Im wanting to sporterize it, and need to know can it hold the pressure of handloaded 30/06? Im talking about 208gr amaxes going about 2800 fps. Will she hold up. Everything looks good on the action, and there is no set back at all.
