i'm thinking of building a sporter out of a hungarian reciever i have. i'll keep an eye on this thread for sure. i was wondering if anyone has wildcated a cartridge using the 7.62x54r case. fmsniper, did you cut the magazine down on your's? it is hard to tell from the picture. i know shotgun news ran a series of articles on a mosin sporter project, but i only seen about two of the issues, and that guy cut his mag down.streamlined it quite a bit.
