  1. Actually if they want to be accurate the descriptor is "idiot"
  2. I can't argue with people who live there, but I will ask; didn't they agree that the loser of the primary would support the winner?

    6.55X55 Ammo

http://www.aimsurplus.com/catalog.aspx?groupid=98 Best price I've seen in a while
  4. Take a look at these folks, they're not in stock yet but it looks like the price might be right http://www.clarianpower.com/
  5. His buddy "Hugo" just quietly nationalized the largest steel producer in Venezuela and made the comment "it is part of the strategy to bring socialism to Venezuela" the KM had done it to G.M. and he had to do something to prove he was a better marxist.
  6. "The numbers reported in this article have no basis in reality" for that matter it is completely in line with the policies of this administration which also have no basis in reality
  7. And it will only cost 35K a copy. We will in an effort to make everyone an expert spare no $$. I spent 22 years in the Army and of late they are trying to "out gear" everybody. While the GI is waiting for the buck rogers gun to spin up (if the batteries haven't died) some raghead with 6th century beliefs is going to pop him with an AK
  8. I'm impressed. When all is said and done not only do you have a good looking rifle but the skills that made it. Next question is when will you shoot it?
  9. Consider it "disseminated"
  10. Not too many IMPAC holders in the Army could get away with it (though the USMC did have someone buy "breast augmentation") mainly the alphabet soup of Govt agencies that CAN access DOD supply system if they took the time and actually knew something but it is "easier" to access and it's not "their" $$
  11. What's really sad is that there are govt agencies buying this stuff from them that if the people knew what they were doing they would get it from the DOD channels w/o the mark-up
  12. What's a really sad commentary is when the National Enquirer is the only newspaper doing investigative reporting, first john edwards (which was dismissed out of hand) now algore
  13. My brother keeps bringing up Moisins and I have to admit it would be fun
  14. Sounds like a pretty good day. I plan on taking my 11 year old daughter to the next gun show now that I've got her shooting rubber 38's in the basement.
  15. That was pretty cool. Interesting with the tree and concrete wall. Thanks for posting it!
  16. Proper mind set good reaction. Difference between an accident and a disaster. Clear thinking. But isn't it amazing how time "dilates"
  17. Just one of many outrages committed by this administration. Less $$ than was srt out for ACORN in the Omnibus bill (4 Billion) would be twice the required funding

    Go Az!

I was listening to the radio today and a lady called in from California to talk about her son not being allowed to take a test on the Constitution. When he pressed the teacher she said she didn't want to hear any more about it and told him they would all be doing a "project" about the Constitution. This is America, teach American history first. I if you want to do ethnic studies you can do that in college and if you graduate you can ask your customers if they want fries with that
  19. I've got a mauser in 6.5x55 and had looked at changing it but when I found out I could fix my accuracy problem by re-crowning it and shot it I decided I'd rather spend the $$ on other things for it
  20. I'd 2nd Boyd's I am just finishing an "unfinished" walnut Mauser stock that cost me $81 with shipping.
  21. I've just re-read "1984" and the problem is like all "science fiction" it is far too close to fact now
  22. I've had to deal with this a couple of times and due to financial constraints and zoning had the vet handle it. I do remember my room mate and I burying a friends beagle in a forest in the good old FRG on one rainy night. Best part was we were able to find his son a Beagle pup a few weeks later. They are our best friends and unselfish in their loyalty
  23. Heck of a nice building they're putting up
  24. We'll see if this works, receiver, what's left of a 94 carbine, muzzle after I had the 1/2" attachment removed and muzzle re-crowned. It literally couldn't hit the side of a refrigerator box before I had it done
  25. Unfortunately working on those. I have ordered an unfinished Boyds cut for the military barrel. Thought there is no practical way to restore but I thought with a little care and effort it will pass its' 100th birthday shooing and looking good. I plan to have my photo deficiency fixed before I start work.
