AzRednek Posted January 30, 2013 Report Share Posted January 30, 2013 My Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, nationally known for his female chain gangs, Tent City jail and rigidly enforcing illegal immigration. Is being wishy-washy on the guns. Despite his popularity he wont comment with either a yes or no on the federal gun regs. My feeling, reflecting back of his support for the Brady Bill. He will likely go along with the feds. On the other hand, being a politician he will likely go with the flow. Choosing the direction that will garner him the most votes. Despite the influx of liberal Californians into Az every time there is an earthquake and now to escape the taxes. Arpiao continues to get re-elected. Orgs such as LaRaza and other liberal organizations constantly dump big bux into Arizona trying to unseat Arpaio. A Sheriff in a neighboring county also being a hard core enforcer of illegal immigration. Was one of the first to say "no way" to the feds on the gun issue.
