AzRednek
GREAT STORY!! Today in a similar situation the brainless Bimbos from PETA would be setting up demonstrations. I recall a horse immortalized at the Rock Island Museum. I just can't recall the reason for preserving the horse. The Army attempted to preserve the horse with early 20th Century taxidermy but were unsuccessful. They later skinned the horse and constructed a wooden frame. It was an excellent job and the horse looked real.
