AzRednek
What I saw on TV. They will have to make and sell plenty of 1911's just to even out on the cost of the equipment. I imagine some so-called lunch box models might appear in the future from people with access to the equipment. I recall a 1970's gun rag article showing a collection of WW2 era lunch box models of everything from 1911's to M-1 rifles. Most were very crude looking but functional. Most likely walked out of the factory in various stages of completion in employee's lunch boxes.
