Choate Stock

Since Chaotes has a blind mag. and furnishes a trigger guard,do you just drop the follower in the stock or leave the floor plate on? I can't get my Swede to feed shells but works perfect with stock trigger guard. If I get it figured out,I got to make or jerry-rig a metal trigger guard. The one that comes with the stock is way cheesy.

Others have solved the blind mag feeding issues by fabricating a thin aluminum part which externally fits the bottom of mag well recess. With an internal profile that is slightly larger than the spring foot. I made one for a Rem 700ADL without the internal profile and just pop riveted the spring to it.

Most times feeding prob is caused by the spring moving to one side or the other and not pushing straight up on the follower.
