375 Ruger

I finally got around to sighting in the rifle I completed over a year ago.

It shoots under an inch @100 yards but recoil is substantial, particularly when shooting from a bench.

I shot a 270win right afterwards and it was pleasant by comparison.

Great looking rifle. I have shot a 416 Rigby which packs a punch, so I imagine the 375 Ruger is about the same. Is this your go to grizzly rifle?

I've been considering rechambering my 376 Steyr to a 375 Ruger. But your "substantial" gives me pause.

Think 338winmag x 2

The 375 H&H give more of a "push" compared to the nose bleed concussion and sledgehammer blow of the Ruger.

I suppose if I were going after a big Brownie I might take this one but, on the other hand, I have several less offensive rifles that would get the job done. :)
