spec4 e4 Posted August 24, 2014 Report Share Posted August 24, 2014 The Dayton safety that is installed on my 243 Win. Is hitting the scope. Would like some pictures of yours and what would you suggest to replace it with. I was thinking of one that is on the left side of the shroud but would like to see pictures of yours and see if the Smith who last my Timney safety and replace it with the Dayton safety did not install it right. ken98k Posted August 24, 2014 Report Share Posted August 24, 2014 I think it's pretty common for the Dayton and Buehler (Timney) safeties to touch the bottom of low mounted scopes.
