karlunity
I was reading a post AZ wrote on the .357 and over penetration and it got me to thinking. I agree and that is why I carry HP in my PPH a .380. Hard ball in the 1911 or even the 9mm is nice but it can just over penetrate and the can create problems. Unless you are dealing with the Hulk, a couple of .380 hp rounds should do it and they will stay where you put them. If you do end up in court, at least you can claim due diligence. karl
ken98k
In the dark and at close range, even a 22lr will cause most felons to change their short term plans.
rdm1962
I have been a fan of 380 for a long time, since the 1980's. I started with a Bersa, now I carry a Beretta model 84. It looks like a down sized 92. My hand loads are 95grain hp's moving a mid-range 9mm velocity. 13 rounds in the mag. make a nice carry pistol. FC
We have .380 and .22 mag. I like small guns. We don't carry much because GA and SC don't recognize each other's carry laws.
karlunity
Beretta model 84. I like the 84. A good friend has one so i was able to fire one. His tends to jam but that his his fault, he was NOT A MARINE and does not clean it as he should. I have a 22 mag as well, I can say that 22 or not I would NOT want to be on the receiving end. Dr.Hess
My wife has the Taurus version of that Baretta. Fits her hand very well. She picked it out after trying every gun at the big Houston gun show.
