tinkerfive Posted November 7, 2005 Report Share Posted November 7, 2005 Sonic I have an Enfield 303 barrel cut down and ready to thread for a 7.62X39 Turk. Did you try the original mag and have problems or did you go straight to the single stack clip? I was indending to use the original mag and block the excess length. Someone said that adapting the follower out of an AK mag will improve feeding with the original mag. I'd prefer to make the original mag work. Any advice? I have a 7.62X39 Turk that will not feed no matter what I have tried, and I'd like to try this. If this doesn't work, it will become a 30/06. sonic1 Posted November 10, 2005 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2005 crowkiller this will pretty much waste a trigger guard,but a rough one can be found pretty cheap..get a clip and open up the top as much as possible so the bolt can run down deep in it as closes..set the clip as far forward as you can..i did the whole thing in about 3 hours..if you have any question p.m. me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
