FC Posted September 12, 2018 Report Share Posted September 12, 2018 We're near GA, but may get two feet of rain. On the good side, we're on sand, and on an elevated area. We do have to go to work. Yesterday I saw seven ambulances with lights on incoming from Charleston, and a military convoy headed for Charleston. No interstate traffic lanes towards Charleston. Step-son's family is staying in their house near Charleston. Dumb move! Have fun when the sewers back up! They have a home generator. The new media play these up to be much worse than what hits, usually. Every once in a while, they're right. I have an 8 KW Honduh powered generator. Columbia was getting the wind and rain when I left Friday, but it was moving very slowly. We got rain Friday night through Sunday- nothing bad, just pretty steady.
