ken98k Posted January 29, 2019 Report Share Posted January 29, 2019 I've put a few AR's together lately causer it's too cold to work in my shop, and I can do these on my kitchen table, with only a quick trip out to use my vise for the barrel nut and the receiver extension. I also enlarged the gas port a size or two, and my cast 300GR powder coated bullets on top of 296 have been running great. A 7.5" 556 is gonna be a tad on the loud side.
