Dr.Hess
If the fuse hole tilted forward instead of vertical, the blast out of it would be directed downrange and it would overall be safer for the "user." But very cool.
FC
Just get out of the way when that fuse is lit. I like the recoil spring, but can't see it.
AzRednek
That would be perfect for mounting on the hood of a car to get through a BLM roadblock. Fill it with rubber buckshot and watch them scatter after lighting the fuse!! Seriously I’d like to know what he’s charging it with.
Dr.Hess
He says it's 60 gr of black powder wrapped in aluminum foil, if I recall. It's the little silver things he pushes in.

I might have missed it, was anything said about the projectile?
FC
I like the mounting on the hood idea. Somebody would try to steal it. He didn't mention projectile, but he put a ball into another naval gun he made that was a muzzleloader.
Dr.Hess
You can see him put something in the breach before the powder charge. A ball, I think. And he shows the target. The whole spring action is cool. I may have mentioned it before, but when I was a kid, my uncle by marriage, an anesthesiologist, was into sail boats. He and his friends would make their own black powder cannons from brass, casting them, boring out, etc. for their sailboats.

Dr.Hess
I don't think so. Nice guy, as I recall. I was about 10 or 12 when he married my aunt, who was quite beautiful but not real stable. We sailed his sailboat from Long Beach CA to Catalina a couple times. He let me steer.
